Introducing you to - BlankCanvasbyBrandon

Hi There.....Do you like engraved items?

Wonderful then let me introduce you to BlankCanvasbyBrandon.

A shop where you can find unique items for all occasions. They specialize in wood working, wood burning and glass engraving. Recently they expanded the shop to include car decals and door mats as well 😊

It all started when in 2014 the shopowner recieved a wood burner & glass etcher from his parents as a christmas gift. Having a background in art, he figured he'd give it a go. He started making gift items for his friends and family. Sure enough many of them started asking for more pieces for their homes. This hobby and passion for art evolved into a business that this shopowner absolutely loves!

I think that is something a lot of Etsy shopowners have in common, the love and passion for their business.

With the help of his wife, the business evolved into something much bigger than he ever imagined. His wife, who is a stay at home mom, started to take over many aspects and continues to market, manage and aid in production of most items in the shop. Outside of Etsy he works full time as a financial advisor, but continues to work at his Etsy shop and passion at home.

Introducing you to - SunnySideCouture

Hi There.....Are you a fan of Vintage style fashion?

If so be sure to read on, cause today I am introducing you to SunnySideCouture

The shop owner's name is Sunny....you can understand where the name comes from 😊

She is a costume designer and got into designing vintage style menswear through music. That is something you don't hear every day.
She played the saxophone since she was 14 and has always been a fan of big band music. She started playing at Lindy hop parties and that's what inspired her to make 30's and 40's style clothing.
It didn't take long before she became full time occupied with making swing trousers. What a cool name for a pair of trousers.....don't you agree?

After having made 100 trousers, she decided to get help with executing. Together with Arnhem Fashion factory she found a small factory in Romania to execute her designs.
That is not an easy task, because she is very picky on details and pre-war menswear has a lot of them. Like little watch pockets, adjustment straps, piped pockets, welt pockets,... and they all have to be perfect.

To make sure she gets the quality she wants, she sources all the materials herself. For the trousers and waistcoats they use beautiful 100% wool all made in the EU. Sometimes she gets lucky and finds the absolute top quality tweeds that she then uses for custom made orders.

Introducing you to - treesizeverse

Hi There.....Are you a fan of handmade bags?

If your answer is yes I have great news for you, cause today I want to introduce you to Treesizeverse.

The maker of this shop was born and raised in a small village in Belgium. His parents and grandparents were fruitfarmers. His inspiration came from his grandmother, who sewed a lof of different things.
He followed a classical tailoring course, but lost interest in it, and went to the Academy of fine art and studied printmaking.
He worked as a full time artist for several years, and had the opportunity to exhibit all over the world.
After a gap of 18 years he found the taste again to design and make things on his sewingmachine.

Just like many other Etsy shop owners he started very small. Not being able to find the right bag for him, made him decide to make one himself. He got so many nice compliments and requests from friends and family that he decided to make some for other people.

So when one day he opened shop he had a clear vison. He wanted to make bags that would last for a long time, and even get better by use. He looked for special fabrics like antique linen, and waxed canvas. They had proven themself to be great survivors in time, and get more beautiful with age.

He is still learning today and wants every new bag to be better than the one before 😊

Introducing to you - LightworkersSoapShop

It's a new shop on Etsy. Taylor, the shopowner, started making soap a few years ago after she used a homemade soap for the first time. She picked it up at a festival and could feel the difference from a regular bar of soap. She loved the idea so much that she decided to make her own.

It started out as a hobby, like with most other Etsians, but the family and friends loved the soap so much that she decided to turn it into a business.

The name Lightworker's soap shop came from the spiritual defination of lightworker. A lightworker is a person who comes to earth to bring light and positive energy, to uplift the world and raise the vibration of the planet.

Her soaps and face masks are all made with quality responsibly sourced ingredients and she only makes them in a positive mental space to transfer the positivity into the product.

Introducing to you - The SandlapperShop

Hi There.....Are you ready for another introduction?

This time I want to introduce you to the SandlapperShop. A shop with special greeting cards, Vintage, Quilting and Whimsy items.

Jeanne, the shop owner, enjoys having her shop on Etsy, where she finds that other shop owners and shopper are so warm and kind. Her shop has an assortment of listings. She has vintage items that were carefully packed away and in beautiful condition because her ancestors just couldn't part with their treasures. Since she can't put them all on display herself, she decided to put them on sale in her shop for others to enjoy them.

Jeanne also sews, quilts, does embroidery and crochets and often lists supplies for sewing, paper crafts and other creative arts. Check out her handmade cards that can be personalized if wanted. 😉
