Hi There..... Do you feel safe?

I have to say..... I don't feel that safe..... Not as much as I used too..... Before this crazy virus came into our lives..... Who knew that it would have such an impact on our lives 😟

Things were getting brighter here in Belgium..... But in the last few days, the number of infected people has been going up again..... I really don't want to have to go in lockdown again..... Some people don't seem to take the rules serious and I really don't get that..... Maybe it's me that's crazy but as Kevin Spacey said 'Sometimes it's the crazy people who turn out to be not so crazy' 😁

Although they did tweak the rules somewhat over here..... You now have to wear your mask in every shop, mall, supermarket, musea, library,..... Practically everywhere inside..... So I was pretty stoked to receive this gorgeous mask from MagicDesignbyElyssa 😄

Pretty fashionable right..... Aha you are jealous now, aren't you..... I bet you would like to know all about this shop..... No worries, I am not gonna keep it to myself 😃

Here's a side view from the mask..... It feels really comfortable and it even comes with an activated carbon filter..... And I think it's so very pretty..... If I have to wear a mask I would rather have one like this than a plain and boring white mask..... Although not the best idea if I would want to rob a store maybe..... They might recognize my mask in an instant 😎

I know you might have to read it twice to fully understand..... But I think that's quite cool and really admirable 😍

Hi There..... Do you like jewelry?

What a stupid question..... Right..... Who doesn't like jewelry..... I suppose there will be some people who don't but most of us do 😃

Ok..... I have another question for you..... Do you like handmade?

I do..... I am a big fan of all kinds of handmade items and as some of you know I am very creative myself..... There are a lot of good reasons I could mention why you should choose handmade over machine made..... It's a labor of love..... Every piece is unique..... Hi There..... Do you like to wear sunglasses?

I actually can hardly do without when I am driving..... Although I don't really wear them that much otherwise 😊

But tell me..... Did you know that today is National Sunglasses Day..... I didn't know either.....  Haha..... I just saw it on my special calendar 😀

I did read there also that it's actually more important to wear sunglasses than we think..... It seems that these UV rays can inflict serious damage to your vision..... I think it's high time to buy me some better sunglasses...... I do have a pair lying around here..... But they are ancient..... I tried them on again last week but it makes me look like a piece of antique 😂

How to style Pastels for the Ultimate Summer Look

Hi There..... Do you have too many ideas at times?

I had today..... I was in doubt which one I was gonna tell you about..... Maybe I could write about the 2 other ideas in my mind some other time..... Meanwhile you can keep guessing a bit what those 2 ideas were..... However, today is all about fashion 😃

It still is one of my favorite topics..... I have always been interested in fashion..... I wasn't very fashionable when I was young but that was not my choice 😉

We just didn't have the money for it..... My dad had an office job and my mom was a stay at home mom..... She stopped working when I was about 4 or 5, as far as I can remember, to be home for me and my 2 sisters..... It was quite common at that time 😳

There we go again..... Yes, that was ages ago..... Or let's just say half an age ago..... If you know that I am almost 57 now..... Oh my, I hate that number..... But most important is that I am young at heart..... Right 😎

I used to be jealous of those kids that had such fashionable clothes..... But who knows..... They may have been jealous that I had a stay at home mom 😁

I still remember what I bought after I got paid for my first summer job..... A pair of black jeans overall trousers..... It was actually way too big for me..... My mom and dad hated it..... But that's what everyone was wearing back then..... No, I don't have any pictures of me wearing it..... You would just make fun of me anyhow 😛

The secret to a smooth skin

Hi There..... Do you like to take care of your skin?

I do..... My skin is very important to me..... So I take good care of it 😃

Ok, sure I admit..... I want to look young as long as I can without having any cosmetic surgery..... Have you seen that Botched series on Tv..... I really wouldn't like to look like that 😂

Although I might consider a laser treatment if my rosacea gets any worse than this..... I can hear you thinking..... What on earth is rosacea 😲

It's a long term skin condition..... You can read all about it on this page of Wikipedia..... But you had better not look at the pictures on the site if you just ate haha..... No and mine is more or less under control at the moment 😌

My mind was wandering again..... No, no..... I am not telling you where my thoughts went too..... My thoughts are mine and mine alone 😁

That's not always true though..... Today I am sharing my thoughts with you..... My thoughts on 2 products I received a while ago from Aloeverademallorca 😃

What are this season's must haves?

Hi There.....Do you like to dress casual?

I do..... I am a real jeans lover..... And at the moment I most prefer the more skinny type of jeans..... One that has elastic in it and fits perfectly around your legs 😃

You know when I grew up jeans weren't elastic at all..... They were stiff from top to bottom as far as I recall..... I remember going to the store and you had to hold your tummy in so hard till there was no air left in your body..... Well, at least it felt like that..... Just to get into that special pair of jeans..... I can guarantee you that it was a lot of hard work 😅 😁

Did you know that jeans weren't a fashion item at all in the early beginnings..... They were mostly worn by men as working clothes..... According to Wikipedia, they were used by sailors because they needed a fabric that could be worn wet or dry..... I bet those men would laugh their ... of if they would see us, women, in them now 😂

I just love looking up a little bit of history..... Both my sisters would laugh pretty hard if they would hear me say this..... They know that I hated it as a subject in class when I was young..... You see it's never too late to change 🤣 😂

What am I rattling away about again..... Haha, that's me I suppose..... You have to do what you are good at 😋

Where can I find some cool handmade pants for this summer?

Hi There..... How are things going over there?

Here in Belgium, we are taking baby steps to a new way of living with a gradual exit strategy..... We have been in lockdown for quite a while now..... I couldn't even remember how long it was..... So I looked it up and it seems that our lockdown started on the 18th of March..... But we have always been allowed to go outside still to do our groceries..... Or for taking walks, a run or other sports in the parc keeping the 1.5m distance in mind of course 😷

So far only the grocery shops, fabric shops, do-it-yourself, and garden shops were open for business..... Starting Monday all the other shops will be opening their doors again..... But I am not crazy enough to go shopping already..... A little crazy maybe but not that crazy 😂

It feels kinda weird though..... When someone in the supermarket wants to be in the same aisle as you..... They look at you in a way as if you could be their killer..... I am not sure yet if I like it..... In a way, it is pretty badass having people be scared of you..... Renata the Ripper..... Doesn't sound that bad 😁

But then again, who is the scaredy-cat..... Me, I suppose..... I am the one staying away from the brave shoppers next week 😅😂
